“I have come” posted on Drops of Wisdom

A translation I recently did of one of Mufti Taqi Usmani’s poems entitled I have come has been posted by our friends at Drops of Wisdom on their website.

“…At Your doorstep, O Lord
As a beggar I have come

Manifest poverty I am
Humility and shame my provision

Posessing neither lap nor cup
This beggar destroyed by covetousness, greed

Wraps of sin render the heart’s world bereaved
Intentions wavering, strength defeated, hope deceased…”

Drops of Wisdom is a new section to the already inspiring Qisas.com

I express my gratitude on behalf of everyone here at Ekhlas to all those working at Qisas.

May Allah bless you in both worlds.
